This NPC will give information about the current weather and the next climate it will change to. This NPC will repair your gear and weapons for a small fee. Especially the Eurekan Potions are a staple all throughout Eureka and its advised to always carry some within your inventory. This NPC offers various trades for consumables, that might come in handy on your journey through Eureka. The trades will unlock as you progress through the different zones. This NPC offers to trade relic materials for zone crystals. This NPC offers you to open lockboxes you get throughout the instance, mainly from clearing fates or farming specific lockboxes in later instances.
The weapon will be upgraded through all zones, which means if you want to reach the Eureka or Physeos stage of your weapon, you have to upgrade it all the way through Anemos, Pagos, Pyros and Hydatos. The table shows which items are needed for which step, please note that the weapons vary by name and prerequisite depending on job. Well known from previous relic weapon and armor questlines, this NPC gives you information about and lets you upgrade your weapons with crystals and materials collected from the zone. Once unlocked, you will find information about Baldesion Arsenal in here too. As you progress through the zones you will be able to unlock more and more records of the expeditions. Upon talking to this NPC, you will be able to get summaries of the Eurekan Expedition, which brought you here in the first place. However, southwest of the zone, there are high level areas with level 55 monsters, so be aware if you go there. On the north side of the zone, you will find mostly flames and lava, which indicates the higher level of the zone. One part at the south of the zone is dominated by ice and snow, and most of it is the lower level area. This also works on a mount.įor the layout of Pyros its characteristic, that the whole area is split into two sections. In order to avoid fighting them or waking them up, you can swap from normal running to walking and just walk past them. These monsters can be very dangerous especially to low levelled players. When wandering through the lands of Eureka Pyros, you might encounter Sleeping Dragons or Flame Void Dragons. However, using Return will bring you back to Northpoint. Just as in previous zones, Aetherytes can be used to travel between them, but they cannot be ported to via map or Teleport-Menu. At level 39 the center Aetheryte The Firing Chamber will become available and at level 41 the northwestern Aetheryte Carbonatite Quarry completes all connections. Upon reaching level 37, you will be able to attune to the Aetheryte on the southern side of Pyros, called The Dragon Star Observatory. Since Patch 5.1 you are able to ride mounts in Eureka from the start, which makes traversing the lands a lot easier. And just as in Pagos as well, monsters are able to mutate or adapt, for significantly more EXP gains and for possible drops of Heat-Warped Lockboxes. This however, is not needed to upgrade your weapon, but instead gives you the ability to reroll the Stats on your weapon. Just as Eureka Pagos, you will farm Vitiated Aether with various activities throughout the instance, once you have finished your Pyros weapon. Once again, various NPCs can be found here, as well as the main Aetheryte.
When entering Eureka Pyros via Rodney, you will find yourself in the main encampment of this zone called Northpoint. Here you will unlock the next step of the Eureka Journey: Eureka Pyros. Once the story of Eureka Pagos has been completed, you will get the quest And We Shall Call It Pyros which leads you back to Rodney at Pier #1 in Kugane.
